What Camp Looks Like

Real Track Time

Campers spend their days on the actual Waldo MX tracks, the same main MX track, pit bike track, and woods loop that riders use year-round. No cones in a parking lot. Real laps on real terrain.

Structured Coaching

Instruction is structured around skill level, not age alone. Beginners work on body position, throttle control, and basic jumps. More experienced riders work on race lines, rhythm sections, and track strategy.

Small Groups

Camp groups are kept intentionally small so coaches can give each rider individual attention throughout the day. Your kid isn't just watching, they're riding and improving.

Multi-Day Format

Progression takes more than one session. Camp runs across multiple days so riders can build on what they learned the day before instead of starting over each morning.

On-Site Camping

Families who travel can stay at Waldo RV Park, 72+ full-hookup sites steps from the track. Park your rig, drop your kid at camp, and ride or relax while they train.

All Skill Levels

First-time riders and kids with several seasons of experience attend the same camp. Groups are split by skill so every rider works at the right level for where they actually are.

Parent FAQ

My kid has never ridden. Is camp right for them?

Yes, as long as they have a bike and basic comfort with it. True first-timers benefit most from a lesson or two before camp so they can focus on improving rather than learning basics under group conditions. Call us and we'll talk through what makes sense.

Do I need to stay on property during camp?

No. Drop-off and pickup work fine. If you want to stay and watch or ride yourself on open practice days, Waldo RV Park has sites available and the main track runs its normal schedule around camp.

What size bike should my kid bring?

Generally: 50cc for ages 4-7 depending on size, 65-85cc for 8-12, 85-125cc for 12-15, 125-250cc for older teens. If you're unsure, call us before camp and we'll advise based on your kid's size and experience.

Is the main motocross track open during camp?

Camp sessions use dedicated time blocks. We'll confirm the specific schedule for each session when you register. Parents and non-campers are welcome to ride on regular open practice days around camp.

How do I register?
