Annual Release and Waiver

Complete the official Waldo MX waiver before riding or entering the facility.

Rider safety standards

These rules apply to every rider at Waldo MX. Track staff may remove any rider or vehicle from the property when safety rules are not followed.

Required to ride

Helmet: DOT- or SNELL-certified and securely fastened at all times.
Eye protection: Shatterproof motocross goggles. Sunglasses are not allowed on track.
Footwear: Over-the-ankle motocross riding boots. Work boots and sneakers are prohibited.
Apparel: Long-sleeve jersey, durable long pants, and full-finger gloves. Motocross pants are recommended.
Recommended: Chest/back protector, knee braces, and neck brace.

On track

Track access: Enter and exit only through designated gates. Never ride backward or cut across the track layout.
Yellow flag / caution: Hold your line, keep wheels on the ground, and do not jump or pass.
Red, black, or checkered flag: Exit the track safely at the nearest designated exit.
Rider etiquette: Slower riders hold a predictable line; faster riders pass safely. Never stop on track or on a jump landing.
Experience: Basic bike-control skills are required. Staff may pull an overly inexperienced rider for that rider's safety.

Pits, paddock & facility

Waivers & wristbands: Riders and spectators must complete a liability waiver before entry and wear issued armbands/wristbands while on property.
Pit speed: A strict 5 mph limit applies in all parking, pit, and camping areas.
Pit vehicles: Golf-cart, side-by-side, and pit-bike drivers must hold a valid driver's license and wear helmets where required. No pit riding after dark unless lighting is provided.
Minors: Riders under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian present to sign the required risk release.
